Farrah Fawcett

  Farrah L. Fawcett was born Ferrah Lee Fawcett from February 2, 1947 to June 25 in 2009. Fawcett, who received a four-time Primetime Emmy Award nomination and six-time Golden Globe Award candidate rose to international recognition after she played the starring role on the first season of Charlie's Angels.



 



 Fawcett started her professional career in the 60s appearing in commercials and appearances on TV. She was on numerous TV series during the 1970s. The couple's husband Lee Majors was film and TV star. Her famous red swimsuit ad sold six million copies during its first year in print. The first time Fawcett starred was as Jill Munroe (private investigator) in Charlie's Angels. Jaclyn and Kate Jackson were also stars. The show catapulted all three actresses to fame. After appearing on the show's initial season in 1976, Fawcett decided to leave Charlie's Angels. Later, she was guest-starring in six episodes from the show's fourth and third seasons (1978-1980). In recognition of her role in Charlie's Angels, Fawcett got her first Golden Globe nomination.
